The fuel crisis, rooted in decades of corruption and mismanagement, has worsened in recent weeks. Moreover, the price of petrol has raised and is sure to send prices of consumer goods further skyrocketing.

Gas Crisis and transportation issue

Because of the gas crises we are facing here in Lebanon its been so hard for me to find a transportation to go to work. Buses are always full and if I want to order a private taxi I can't since they can't find a gas station to fill theirs cars. Moreover transportation are getting more and more expensive and the companies still didn't raise our transportation money!

No Covid-19 precautions are being taken on gas stations

My friend took this photo while waiting to fill his motorcycle on the gas station then posted it on his social media story. I was surprised to see people all gathered together closely without taking precautions to Covid-19. This will only make the country's situation worse.

Not being able to go anywhere because of the gas problem.

This week I wanted to see a friend, but we couldn't because he had waited that day for 2 hours to fill his tank and he needed to keep the gasoline to go to his job. Unfortunately public transportation is lacking and not reliable. As you can see in this movie, 2 hours is still fast to fill the tank and he was lucky enough to get a full one. Most people only get half a tank after these hours of waiting.
